Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use ghifoods.com or order from it. By placing an order you agree to them, and to our Shipping Policy, Refund Policy and Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

ghifoods.com is run by GHI Gourmet Health Impressions, a brand of GHI Engitech Mark, Vadodara, Gujarat, India. "We" and "us" mean that business.

2. Who can order

You must be 18 or older and able to enter into a contract under Indian law. The details you give us must be true and complete.

3. Products

• Spices are farm products. Colour, size, aroma and taste vary a little with each harvest and batch. Photos on the site are indicative.
• Read the label on the pack for ingredients, allergen information, best before date and storage. The label is the final word if it differs from the website.
• Our products are food, not medicine. Nothing on this site is medical or dietary advice.
• We may change or withdraw a product at any time.

4. Prices and payment

• Prices are in Indian rupees and include all taxes. Any delivery charge is shown at checkout before you pay.
• Payment is online only, through Cashfree Payments. We do not offer cash on delivery.
• Prices and offers can change at any time. The price that applies is the one shown when you pay.
• A coupon has its own conditions, works once per order, has no cash value, and can be withdrawn at any time.
• If a price or listing is clearly wrong, we may cancel the order and refund it in full, even after it was confirmed.

5. Orders

Your order is confirmed when we receive your payment and email you a confirmation. We may refuse or cancel an order if an item is out of stock, the pincode cannot be served, the listing was wrong, the quantity suggests resale, or the payment looks fraudulent. If we cancel, we refund everything you paid. That refund is our only obligation for a cancelled order.

6. Delivery, returns and refunds

Our Shipping Policy and Refund Policy form part of these terms. Delivery times are estimates.

7. Invoices and business orders

A GST tax invoice is issued when your order is dispatched. If you give a GSTIN at checkout, our accounts team sends the GST invoice separately. Export and bulk supply are agreed separately and are not covered by these terms.

8. Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what is done through your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.

9. Using the site

Do not misuse the site. That includes trying to break into it, overloading it, copying it in bulk, placing fake orders, or using it for anything unlawful. We may block access or cancel orders if this happens.

10. Our content

The GHI name and logo, and the text, photographs, videos and designs on this site, belong to us or to those who licensed them to us. Do not use them for business purposes without our written permission.

11. Other websites

The site links to services we do not control, such as marketplaces, couriers and social networks. We are not responsible for them. If you buy our products on a marketplace, that platform's terms apply to the purchase.

12. Our responsibility to you

• We try to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors.
• As far as the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as courier failures, strikes, weather, network or payment system outages, or government action.
• Nothing in these terms takes away rights that Indian consumer law gives you and that cannot be excluded.

13. Your responsibility to us

If we suffer loss because you broke these terms or the law, you agree to make good that loss.

14. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please write to us first so we can try to settle any problem directly. Subject to any rights you have under consumer law, the courts at Vadodara, Gujarat have jurisdiction.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you place an order applies to that order. If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
